David Saul Chackler (April 24, 1945 – April 27, 2024) was an American music and film executive.[1] He was best known for his launching the careers of several artists, including Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac), Queen and 2 Live Crew, one of rap/hip-hop music’s ground-breakers, and more recently, his work with Grammy-winning rock legend Jim Peterik (Survivor and Ides of March).[citation needed]
