David Francis Griffin (13 May 1905 – 18 February 1944) was a Canadian middle-distance runner. He competed in the men's 1500 metres at the 1928 Summer Olympics.[1]
He died serving as a Flying Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II,[2] when passenger of a ferry plane from Iceland to Newfoundland which crashed.[1] His grave is located in the Goose Bay Joint Military Cemetery in Labrador.[2]
