David Emmanuel Wilson (born June 15, 1991) is an American former professional football player who was a running back for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL). Wilson played college football for the Virginia Tech Hokies, earning second-team All-American honors in 2011. He was selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Giants with the 32nd overall pick.[1] He was forced to retire after only two NFL seasons because of a career-ending neck injury.
