Demon is a multi-looping roller coaster at both Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Illinois and California's Great America in Santa Clara, California.[1][2] Both coasters opened in 1976 as Turn of the Century, when both Great America parks were owned by Marriott Corporation.[3] Following the 1979 season, they were modified and rebranded as Demon, featuring a new theme.[4][5]
