Deng Hongxun (Chinese: 邓鸿勋; January 1931 – 21 December 2019) was a Chinese politician and engineer. He served as the Chinese Communist Party Committee Secretary of Hainan Province from June 1990 to January 1993, and prior to that, as CCP Committee Secretary of his native city Wuxi and Deputy Party Chief of Jiangsu Province. His tenure in Hainan was marked by his fierce clash with Governor Liu Jianfeng.
