Dickinson County is a county in Central Kansas. Its county seat and most populous city is Abilene.[3] As of the 2020 census, the county population was 18,402.[1] The county was named in honor of Daniel Dickinson, a U.S. Senator from New York that was a Kansas statehood advocate.[4]
