It was released as the second single from Johnson's sophomore studio album Dress Rehearsal (2004) on May 17, 2004, via Arista Nashville. Although a commercial failure in the United States, it proved to be a success in her home country of Canada, hitting the top-ten of the Radio & Records Canada Country airplay chart.
