Star India is an Indian media conglomerate that is a joint venture between Disney India and Viacom18, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries. Viacom18 is the majority shareholder in the joint venture, while Disney India and Bodhi Tree Systems are silent partners as they are minority shareholders. The Joint Venture has various channels and content production studios in India.
