"Don't!" is a song co-written and recorded by Canadian country music singer Shania Twain. It was released on January 18, 2005, to country and adult contemporary radio as the second single from her Greatest Hits compilation album. The song was written by Twain and then-husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The song was also included under the end credits of the 2005 film An Unfinished Life, and in the Brazilian soap opera América.[1]
"Don't!" was a moderate commercial success, reaching the top 20 on the US Adult Contemporary chart as well as the Ultratip charts in both Flanders and Wallonia. It was her fourth highest debut on the Hot Country Songs chart, yet only reached number 24. The song garnered no promotion during its release, as Twain was battling Lyme disease and couldn't perform live. "Don't!" was performed for the first time ever as a fan request during the Winnipeg stop of her 2023 Queen of Me Tour.
