Abdul Razzak Abdul Wahid (Arabic: عبد الرزاق عبد الواحد, July 1, 1930 – November 8, 2015) was an Iraqi poet born in Baghdad. Shortly after his birth, his family moved to Maysan Province in southern Iraq, where he spent his childhood.[1] He was known as the Poet of the Gulf War, the Poet of Qadisiyyah, the Poet of Two Centuries, and the Last Al-Mutanabbi.[2]

He graduated from the Higher Teachers' House (currently the College of Education) in 1952 and worked as an Arabic teacher in secondary schools. His wife was a doctor, and he had one daughter and three sons. He participated in most sessions of the Iraqi Al-Mirbad Poetry Festival. He passed away on the morning of November 8, 2015, at the age of 85 in Paris, the French capital.[3]
