Cynthia (Cyndi) Coon is an American artist, writer, producer, and futurist known for her work in applied threatcasting and futurecasting. She splits her time between the Sonoran desert of Arizona and the high mountain desert of New Mexico. Coon is the Founder and CEO of Laboratory5 Inc., (2003) where she collaborates with government agencies, the military, higher education institutions, and NGOs on projects ranging from Threatcasting to information shaping to prototyping to experiential research. She is the co-founder of the Threatcasting Lab at Arizona State University.^[1]
