Presently, Dr Ram Kumar serves a global automotive company with their cyber security function. His 23-year corporate stint includes multi-national companies like Nissan, Philips, Société Générale, Technicolor, Envestnet Yodlee, G4S, ATOS, etc.
Dr Ram’s core expertise extends across Information Security, Corporate Security, Data Privacy and Business Continuity domains. He has extensive experience working with CXOs in his endeavor to build integrated security program from ground up in multi-national companies across BFSI, IT/ITES, ISP, Media & Entertainment, Healthcare and Automotive industry verticals.
Academic Credentials
Dr Ram earned his Ph.D in Information Security from Alliance University, holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree (Distinction) from Edith Cowan University, Australia and a Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) from Madurai Kamaraj University. He has pursued Post Graduate Program in Cloud Computing from Great Lakes Institute of Management and Business Leadership program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, USA.
His professional certifications include CISM, CRISC, CDPSE, CPISI, CEH, EU GDPR, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, PMP, CDPP, GCHQ CIPR, BCCE, CCNA amongst others.
Dr Ram is a Fellow of Privacy Technology (FPT) conferred by OneTrust, USA. He was awarded Fellow of inSIG 2021 by India School on Internet Governance (inSIG). Dr Ram is a Certified Corporate Director from Institute of Directors, India.

Dr Ram debuted as a published author when he was just 26 years with his first book "Career Excellence" published by Atlantic Publishers, New Delhi. This book was published in both paperback & hardbound editions and came out in 2 volumes.
