Nikita Achkasov (born June 28, 2006 in Kyiv, Ukraine), known as dzhydi, is an Ukrainian singer and songwriter. Nikita's career started in 2012, when the young singer started taking part in many contests and taking 1st place in many of them. In 2017, he went on his first big show Ukraine's Got Talent Season 9, where he didn't pass the first round. Later that year, he tried at Ukrainian Voice Kids 4, where he still didn't get a chance for the further participation. In 2018, he played in musical "Lichtarius. Tales Come Alive" placed in Kyiv, Ukraine, after which he then took part in Ukrainian Voice Kids 5 becoming one of the finalists.
Nikita didn't stop on Voice and took part in the National Election for Junior Eurovision 2020 where he took 4th place. 2020 was the year of his songwriting development when he took a break from the TV-Shows in order to develop his career as an artist. In 2022, he released his first single "Everybody Dance".[1] which gave him a big jump as an artist. That same year, in September he released his second single "You're Stuck"[2] and in November his first album "when you with me"[3] came out. After that, he moved to London, Canada and after a 9-month pause in releasing any music he published an alternative-indie-jazz song called "Never Let Me Go"[4] that became an opening for his future same-style projects. In September 2023, he came out with an upbeat single "July 29th"[5]. Later that fall, his last promo-single "Fallen Star.mp3"[6] came out with the announcement of the new album, where the latest release became a lead-single. Mid-December the second album "Let Me Tell You" was released having 14 songs in it which is twice more than in a first one. At the same time, dzhydi decided to explain the meanings of the songs and the concept of the album[7]. His latest release "Gumusservi"[8] came out mid-June with the music video[9] accompanying 2 weeks later is his biggest project at the moment: "At this point, this was my biggest project and I’m really happy that now YOU can watch it too. This experience was so exciting and fun for me, and now I know what I will be doing more in the future as an additional part for my upcoming songs" , shares the singer on his Instagram[10]
