Entertainment (Thai: เอ็นเตอร์เทนเม้นท์), also known as Loso Entertainment, is the second studio album by Thai rock band Loso, released on March 26, 1998, by GMM Grammy subsidiary More Music.[1][2] Recorded in their record label's music studio, the band experimented with methods that combined guitar-driven indie music, previously experimented with the rock band Carabao, with Thai traditional melodies and rhythms.[3]
Commercially, Entertainment has sold over two million copies in Thailand and won Loso the Season Award, Thailand's annual rock awards, for Best Group in 1999.[2][4][5][6][7][8][9][10] The album found additional success with its lead single, "Som San", which became fairly popular in Thailand.[3][8][9][10][11] Guide book publisher Lonely Planet described the song as a "true youth anthem, to the point that every Thai teenager can sing 'Som San' [and many other songs] by heart".[3] The Thai Public Broadcasting Service described it as "a rock song that creates a stream throughout the country" and "popular among all listeners".[11]
