Fast XI (also known as Fast & Furious 11) is an upcoming American action film. It is intended to be the eleventh and final installment in the main Fast & Furious film franchise and the twelfth full-length Fast & Furious film released in the series. Louis Leterrier is set to direct, returning after previously directing Fast X (2023), from a screenplay by Christina Hodson and Oren Uziel, and the story by Zach Dean.
Development on an eleventh main Fast & Furious film began by October 2020. Vin Diesel discussed the eleventh main film from June 2021 to March 2023. Leterrier was set to return to direct and Hodson and Uziel were hired to write the screenplay in April 2023, and Dwayne Johnson was announced to return to the franchise in early May. Pre-production of the film was suspended due to the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes. The title was revealed in February 2024 and Dean was revealed to have written the story treatment in June. Filming is scheduled to begin in early 2025.
The film is scheduled to be released in the United States in 2026.
