Fred Jung is an American politician serving as Mayor Pro Tem of Fullerton, California.[1] Born in Seoul, South Korea, Jung immigrated to the United States at a young age and has been a resident of Fullerton District 1 since 1987[1]. He made history by becoming the first Asian-American member of the Fullerton City Council in over 20 years after being elected to represent Council District 1 in November 2020. Jung has been actively involved in public service, previously serving on the Parks and Recreation Commission and Traffic and Circulation Commission.[1]
