The frontier between Colombia and Peru is the frontier separating Colombia and Peru.
The current route is fixed by the Protocol of Rio de Janeiro, signed by the two States in Rio de Janeiro May 24th 1934 and which put an end to the Colombia–Peru War from 1932 to 1933 and confirms the Salomón–Lozano Treaty signed in Lima March 24th 1922[1].
The Rio's protocol establish the frontier on the Putumayo River's course, except the Amazon Trapeze, between the Putumayo and the Amazon River, which is under the Colombia's sovereignty power. This frontier makes 1 626 km of length and separates the Colombian departments of Putumayo and Amazonas from the Peruvian region of Loreto[2].
