Draft:Garphill Games

  • Comment: I think this company is probably notable, but the sourcing does not currently meet the pretty strict notability criteria for companies. The main issue is that there should be significant coverage in sources that are reliable and independent and secondary, and too much of the content is based on interviews with, or quotes from, the founder – and he's a primary source. In general, the sources are reliable (although BGG is user generated so doesn't qualify) and most of them are independent, so it's really the secondary sources criterion that's missing. Please check the notability criteria, which are listed here together with definitions of the key terms "reliable", "independent", and "secondary". bonadea contributions talk 12:25, 6 November 2024 (UTC)

Garphill Games is a New Zealand-based independent board game publisher founded by Shem Phillips in 2009.[1] Originally started as a passion project,[1][2] Garphill Games has grown into a recognised name in the tabletop gaming industry, known for its historically-themed games.[3][2] The company operates out of Kāpiti, New Zealand, and often uses Kickstarter for initial funding.[4]
