A total lunar eclipse will take place on 22 January 2024. The lunar eclipse will last for 5 hours and 38 minutes from P1 to P4, with the totality phase will last for 2 hours and 18 minutes. Since this eclipse is a total lunar eclipse, it will appear a reddish color during totality. The brightness of how red the moon appears varies, and can be categorized on a scale of 1 to 4.[1] This eclipse is a part of saros series 125.[2][3]
