Maryleen Schiltkamp (1959) is a visual artist who was born on the Caribbean island of Curaçao and grew up there. She studied graphic design at the Rietveld Academie (1977-1978) and classical fine art, painting and sculpting at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten (1978-1981) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.[1]
Besides in Amsterdam, Schiltkamp has lived and worked in New York City, Saint Petersburg and Prague.[2][3]
