National Boxing Hall of Fame (NBHOF) was founded in 2014 by Bill and Linda Dempsey Young. NBHOF is headquartered in West Hills, California. Professional boxers become eligible for induction into the NBHOF two years after their retirement. Inductees are selected by a committee comprising boxing historians, experienced boxing officials, trainers, and journalists. The NBHOF holds its induction ceremonies annually in April each year.[1]
In October 2018, the NBHOF hosted the final California Boxing Hall of Fame event in honor of Don Fraser. Another event, "15 Rounds Down Memory Lane," was held at Steven’s Steakhouse in October 2023.[2][3]
