Draft:NuLink!

t

Nulink![1] was a service hosted by Garmin to provide Movie times, Traffic, Gas prices, flight status, Ciao! Friend locator, weather, Send to GPS, Local events and white pages to select Garmin Nuvi GPS devices.

It is believed that Garmin created NuLink! to replace MSN Direct after its announced shutdown in October 2009.

NuLink was first made available with the launch in the Garmin NuLink! LIVE 1690 satellite
in the fourth quarter of 2009.[2] With the larger NuLink! 1695 releasing later

NuLink! Was well received as a service but was critiqued for its high price of $289.99 ($426.68 with inflation) per unit, and then $69.99 ($102.98 with inflation) per year.

The nüLink!® LIVE 2320 Was cheaper, and introduced photoLive, Garmin's "next generation" of live traffic. It allowed you to view a live stream of traffic cameras on major roads.

NuLink! was discontinued in most parts of the world on January 1st 2016, But remained functional in Canada.
