Submission declined on 4 August 2024 by CFA (talk). This submission is not adequately supported by reliable sources. Reliable sources are required so that information can be verified. If you need help with referencing, please see Referencing for beginners and Citing sources. This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia. Declined by CFA 34 days ago. |

Sant Isher Singh Ji (August 26, 1905 – August 9, 1975) also known as Sant Ishar Singh Ji was a Sikh saint, preacher, singer and writer from the Rara Sahib region of Punjab, India.[1][2] He was born in Alowal, a small village in the Ropar district of Punjab, to Baba Ram Singh, a farmer, and Mata Rattan Kaur, a homemaker.[3][4][5]
Sant Isher Singh Ji was born of Mata Ratan Kaur, in the household of Sardar Ram Singh Nambardar, on 5th August 1905 at village Allowal, district Patiala. The parents named their son Gulab Singh. Nobody knew that one day this "Gulab" (meaning rose) would spread his fragrance far and wide. He received the basic worldly education from the primary School of village 'Chulela'.
