Shafinur Shafin (Bengali: শাফিনূর শাফিন ; 21 April 1987) is a Bangladeshi poet, writer, translator, and academic. She is also the poetry editor of Prachya Review, an international literary webzine.[1][2][3][4][5]

Though her native language is Bangla, she also writes in English.[6] She has also translated works into English[7] and Bangla; In 2022, she translated A Christmas Carol into Bangla.[8]

Her first poetry collection, নিঃসঙ্গম (Nisangam), was published in Bangladesh in 2016.[9] Her poems have been translated into Nepali, Hindi, French, Spanish, German, and Italian.[10][11][12][3]


Shafin has spoken on the influence of Sufism on Bangla poetry.[13]
