Draft:Susan McMartin

Susan McMartin is an author and screenwriter in the United States. She wrote the story the 2016 film Mr. Church based on her life experiences.[1] McMartin worked as a writer and producer on the CBS television series Mom and as a writer for Two and a Half Men.[2]

A single mom, she recounted her financial struggles as an aspiring screenwriter in Hollywood.[3]

Samuel L. Jackson was originally cast to play the family friend and cook who helped raise her.[4]

In 2024 she was working with Chuck Lorre on a program for Netflix.[6]
