Syed Ameer Haider Abidi (born 1940) is a UgandanAsian researcher and professor of Library and Information Science (LIS)^[1] . He was the Director of the East African School of Library and Information Science previously referred to as, the East African School of Librarianship at Makerere University from 1972-2002^[2]^[3]
