Vasily Panteilemonovich Luchich Dalmatov[1] (Russian Cyrillic: Далматов (Лучич) Василий Пантелеймонович; 1852-1912) was a Russian stage actor, director, and playwright who performed mainly in Odessa, St. Petersburg and Moscow. Lučić is considered an outstanding actor of the Aleksandrinsky Theatre[2]He was a contemporary of other great Russian actors of his generation: Maria Savina, Aleksandr Lensky, Konstantin Varlamov, Polina Strepetova, Ivan Gorbunov, Vasily Andreev-Burlak (1843-1888) and Modest Pisarev[3].
