Drohobych Oblast (Ukrainian: Дрогобицька область, romanizedDrohobytska oblast) was an oblast of the Ukrainian SSR from December 4, 1939 to May 21, 1959. It had an area of 9,600 square kilometres (3,700 sq mi) and, as of 1956, had a population of 853,000.
