Dzheyrakhsky District (Russian: Джейра́хский райо́н; Ingush: ЖӀайраха шахьар, Žyajraxa šaꜧar) is an administrative[1] and municipal[4] district (raion), one of the four in the Republic of Ingushetia, Russia. It is located in the south of the republic. The area of the district is 628.14 kilometers (390.31 mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Dzheyrakh.[1] As of the 2010 Census, the total population of the district was 2,638, with the population of Dzheyrakh accounting for 57.4% of that number.[1]
