Ebersberg is the seat of the similarly named Ebersberg Landkreis (district) in the Oberbayern Regierungsbezirk (administrative region) in Bavaria, southern Germany. The Ebersberger Forst (forest) is one of Germany’s largest continuous area of woodlands[dubiousdiscuss].
