Echinos (Greek: Εχίνος; Bulgarian: Шахин, Shahin) is a village and a community in the municipality Myki.^[2] Before the 2011 local government reform it was part of the municipality of Myki, of which it was a municipal district.^[2] The 2021 census recorded 2,780 inhabitants in the community.^[1] The community of Echinos covers an area of 85.691 km².^[3]
