Echo Beach is a British soap opera created by Tony Jordan which broadcast on ITV from 10 January to 21 March 2008, lasting only one series of twelve episodes. It stars Martine McCutcheon, Jason Donovan and Hugo Speer, and is set in the fictional Cornish coastal town of Polnarren.[1] The series was produced by Kudos for ITV, while Jordan and Jane Featherstone served as executive producers.
The show's title refers to the Canadian song Echo Beach, by Martha and The Muffins. A cover version of the song, by Australian singer-songwriter Gabriella Cilmi, was recorded for the series' theme.
