Edward D. Green (February 25, 1865 – August 23, 1936) was an American politician and businessman. He represented the 1st District, as a Republican in the Illinois House of Representatives from 1905 to 1907 and from 1911 to 1913.[3] During his first term, he was the only African-American to serve in the House.
