The Stanislavsky Electrotheatre (Russian: Электротеатр Станиславский), known from 1948 to 2013 as the Stanislavsky Drama Theatre, and from 1946 to 1948 as the Stanislavsky Opera and Drama Theatre, is a theatre in Moscow. It was founded in 1935 as an opera and drama studio. It has functioned as a drama theatre since 1948. Since 1950 it has been located at 23 Tverskaya Street. In 2013, it was closed for renovations and in 2015 was reopened under its current name.[1] It has been a member of the Union of the Theatres of Europe since 2017. The theatre's artistic director is Boris Yukhananov.[2]
