Emmett Township is a civil township of St. Clair County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,515 at the 2020 Census.[3] The village of Emmett is located within the township. Emmett Township was set off from Clyde Township in 1850. It is named for Irish patriot Robert Emmet.
