Erbolat Asqarbekūly Dossaev (Kazakh: Ерболат Асқарбекұлы Досаев, Kazakh pronunciation: [jerbɔɫɑt ɑsqaɾbʲeko̙ɫɯ dɔsɑjəf]; born 21 May 1970) is a Kazakh politician serving as an äkım of Almaty since 31 January 2022. Prior to that, he was a National Bank of Kazakhstan chairman from 25 February 2019 and served as a Deputy Prime Minister from 29 August 2017 to 25 February 2019.[1] He served as the Minister of Finance from 16 June 2003 to 5 April 2005,[2] headed the Agency for Regulating Natural Monopolies,[3] and later as the Health Minister from 5 April 2004 to 20 September 2006. In January 2013, Dossaev was appointed head of a reorganized Minister of National Economy.[4][5]
