Erica Jean Barks-Ruggles (born 1967)[1] is a diplomat and former United States Ambassador to Rwanda. She was nominated by President Barack Obama and confirmed by the Senate in November 2014.[2] On July 14, 2023, she was appointed as the Head of the U.S. Mission to UNESCO.[3]
