Ermonela Jaho (born July 18, 1974[1]) is an Albanian operatic soprano.[2] She was described in The Economist as "the world’s most acclaimed soprano".[3] The Financial Times said "Ermonela Jaho throws heart and soul into her singing... Don't even try to resist".[4]

The Guardian has described her as "one of the great verismo interpreters".[5] and on another article "Ermonela Jaho triumphs in Madama Butterfly".[6]
