Evergem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈeːvərɣɛm] ) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Belzele , Doornzele, Ertvelde, Evergem proper, Kerkbrugge-Langerbrugge , Kluizen, Rieme , Sleidinge and Wippelgem . In 2021, Evergem had a total population of 35,791.[2]
