Everyone Who Pretended to Like Me Is Gone is the debut studio album by the American rock band the Walkmen, released on March 26, 2002, by Startime International.

The Walkmen celebrated the album's release by performing at the Knitting Factory on April 6, 2002.[3] The album received generally positive reviews, especially from independent music reviewers. The song "We've Been Had" was featured in commercials for the Saturn Ion. The cover is a detail of a Lewis W. Hine photograph, called Newsies at Skeeter's Branch, St. Louis, Missouri, 11:00 am, May 9, 1910.
