Ewedu is a traditional Yoruba soup made from Jute leaves with Obe Ata (a tomato and pepper based stew/sauce) and meat, fish, etc added. It is usually eaten with Amala and sometimes Eba, Iyan, Fufu or Semo. Ewedu can also be eaten as Abula, Abula is a mix of ewedu, gbegiri (a ground bean sauce), Obe ata sauce/stew and Amala.
