Ezhamkadalinakkare (transl. Across The Seventh Sea)[1] is a 1979 Indian Malayalam-language film, directed by I. V. Sasi and produced by N. G. John.[2] The film stars K. R. Vijaya in the lead role, whereas supporting roles were played by Soman, Seema, Ravikumar, Vidhubala, P. Bhaskaran, Henry Marsal, Janardanan and Jo Washington.[3] It is the first Malayalam film to be shot in North America, with Manhattan being one of its locations.[4] The song "Suralokajaladhaara" was filmed near in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.[5] This film was a remake of the Tamil film Ore Vaanam Ore Bhoomi by the same director.
