False Face[a] is a 1977 American psychological horror film directed by John Grissmer, and starring Robert Lansing and Judith Chapman. Its plot follows a mentally-unstable plastic surgeon who transforms a young accident victim to resemble his missing daughter, all part of a scheme to inherit a property from his deceased millionaire father-in-law.

The film was released regionally in 1977 through United International Pictures, and re-released in 1979 under the title Scalpel after it was acquired by AVCO Embassy Pictures.
