Fatima Ibrahim Shema

Fatima Ibrahim Shema (born in 1962) in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. She was the First Lady and wife to the former Executive Governor of Katsina State, Alhaji Ibrahim Shehu Shema.[1][2] She is a humanitarian and has often been referred to as the Iron Lady[citation needed] due to her resolute character and intolerance, and she was awarded the Most Valuable Governor's Wife in the North-West award.[3] Fatima has never worked with the government but rather ran personal businesses until becoming the First Lady in 2007.[4]
