In mathematics, specifically bifurcation theory, the Feigenbaum constants /ˈfɡənˌbm/[1] δ and α are two mathematical constants which both express ratios in a bifurcation diagram for a non-linear map. They are named after the physicist Mitchell J. Feigenbaum.
