Fernando Fiore (born July 9, 1960) is an Argentine television personality known as the co-creator and original host of Lente Loco from 1992 to 1993, and the host of the travel show Fuera de Serie with Sofía Vergara. He is perhaps best known as the host of República Deportiva from its debut in 1999 until his departure in 2014. Fiore has anchored Univision's FIFA World Cup coverage from 1990 until 2014. Fiore, a two-time Emmy Award winner, is also the author of The World Cup: The Ultimate Guide to the Greatest Sports Spectacle in the World.[2] As of 2015, Fiore works as a Bundesliga commentator and a Germany correspondent for Fox Deportes in the United States and Puerto Rico and Fox Sports in Latin America, as well as an English-language studio host for Fox Sports's soccer coverage.
