The football tournament at the 2023 SEA Games was held from 29 April to 16 May 2023 in Cambodia. All matches were held in Phnom Penh city.
Associations affiliated with FIFA might send teams to participate in the tournament. There were no age restrictions on women's teams. For men's teams, the age limit returned from under-23 to under-22 (born on or after 1 January 2001) with no overage players being allowed.[1]
The draw was held on 5 April 2023 at the Morodok Techo National Stadium.[2]
