Fosse/Verdon is an American biographical drama miniseries starring Sam Rockwell and Michelle Williams as director–choreographer Bob Fosse and actress/ dancer Gwen Verdon respectively. The series, which charts the couple's troubled personal and professional relationship, is based on the biography Fosse by Sam Wasson. Norbert Leo Butz and Margaret Qualley are also featured as Paddy Chayefsky and Ann Reinking, respectively. It premiered on FX.
At the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards, Fosse/Verdon earned 17 nominations, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series and acting nods for Rockwell, Williams, and Qualley.[1] Williams received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie and the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film at the 77th Golden Globe Awards.[2][3] At the 26th Screen Actors Guild Awards, Rockwell and Williams both won at their respective categories.
