Gianfrancesco Galeani Napione also noted as Francesco Galeani Napione, count of Cocconato (1 November 1748 – 12 June 1830) was a renowned Italian historian, writer and senior civil servant who worked for the House of Savoy.[2] He wrote prolifically on the most diverse subjects throughout his long life.[2]
