Franklin Township is a township in Fayette County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,380 at the 2020 census,[2] a decline from the figure of 2,528 tabulated in 2010.[3] The township is served by the Uniontown Area School District.

Unincorporated communities within the township include Smock, Bitner, Buena Vista, Flatwoods, and Laurel Hill.
